Winchester
Winchester: a charming, quaint, and beautiful town that dates all the way back to the 1630s. Winchester is full of rich history, from the Sanborn House to the site of the Black Horse Tavern to the Boston and Lowell Railroad. Yet Winchester is also a vibrant modern community with friendly locals, beautiful greenery, and classic architecture. Join your Digital Photo Academy instructor to capture the history and charm of one of Massachusett’s favorite towns. Strolling through Winchester, you are sure to capture unique and stunning photos of flora and architecture. Highlight the colonial architecture with classic lines or try new angles to give an old look a new style. Practice shooting in macro to enhance the tiny dew droplets on a blade of grass or bring out the colors of a red rose. Shooting alongside a professional photographer provides you with a unique opportunity to learn new compositional techniques and gain advice and expertise on your work. Discover different opportunities to shoot wide-angle or macro shots, experiment with leading lines or depth of field, and learn how to build a trusting relationship between your camera and the locals who you photograph. We will meet outside of the Winchester Public Library located at 80 Washington Street, Winchester, MA 01890. Please bring your DSLR or another type of digital camera that you use, a fully-charged battery, and the equipment that you can carry. You should dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Call Digital Photo Academy at 1 877 372 2231. Lots of people seem to hang up if our welcome recording comes on instead of a live voice, but we promise to return your message within a day or two if you leave one with your name and number.  It would be even better if you included your e mail address as well as the date and city of the class you are considering.  If leaving a voice mail message is not your thing, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected].
