Marian Kraus, a Chicago area based professional architectural and fine art photographer, was born in Czechoslovakia and raised in Germany before he came to the US in 1985. In 1999 he left his corporate career of 20 years to pursue his passion on a full time basis. He works with clients ranging from corporate, editorial and advertising and presents unexpected views of familiar objects which encourage open-mindedness and inspiration. His style is bold, colorful and symmetrical. Marian’s fine art photography has been exhibited nationally and internationally and can be found in a growing number of private, corporate and institutional art collections. His commercial photography clients include Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc., Marriott Hotels, Double Tree Hotels by Hilton, Crate & Barrel, Graycor, Inc., Chicago Double Decker Co., Getty Images, Lend Lease, Inc., McKesson Pharmaceuticals, Kerasotes ShowPlace Theaters and many others. He creates photographs that tell a story.
