City Garden Park is barely a decade old and blends the charm of old-world landscapes as well as dynamic oversized sculptures of every color. Even without a camera, this downtown locale will delight any visitor. But your Digital Photo Academy instructor will help you walk away with portfolio-worthy images of the serene, sometimes whimsical, sometimes surreal setting.

You can pose for a workshop co-participant to make you the main subject of an environmental portrait, gigantic sculpture included, and your instructor will also make you the photographer vice-versa. Enjoy the artful pathways but learn to use them in your photo in a Leading Lines composition technique that brings any snapshot to life creating a reaction in the viewer of your image that keeps there eye on and all about the scene within the frame of what you captured.

After taking this enjoyable workshop you will have acquired an array of very easy-to-learn composition strategies that will enable you to make choices in all future photo activities, whether a family reunion, a neighborhood stroll or a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience. After the shoot, sit together and share photos and comments over coffee.
