North Park has evolved into San Diego’s hipster community. Cool bars, trendy shops, and lively culture add the the area’s appeal. If that is not enough, add classic architecture to the mix. North Park is undergoing a major shift in popularity since it was first established in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
Come join us as we explore storefront windows, hipster life and classic architecture as we make our way through this fast emerging, multicultural neighborhood.
We will meet in at the corner of University Avenue and Kansas street, in front of Tamarindo Latin Kitchen, 2906 University Avenue, San Diego, 92104. North Park still offers plenty of free parking on the streets off University Avenue. Otherwise, for reasonable paid parking, try the North Park parking structure at 3829 29th Street.
