Patuxent Research Refuge
Patuxent Research Refuge supports a wide diversity of wildlife in forest, meadow, and wetland habitats. Over 270 species of birds occur on the Refuge. Bald eagles are occasionally seen feeding on the Refuge. Learn from a professional photographer the art of panning to catch a bird in flight or how to frame wildlife in its natural habitat. One could spend weeks at Patuxent Research Refuge and never run out of landscape photo opportunities.
Call Digital Photo Academy at 1 877 372 2231. Lots of people seem to hang up if our welcome recording comes on instead of a live voice, but we promise to return your message within a day or two if you leave one with your name and number. It would be even better if you included your e mail address as well as the date and city of the class you are considering. If leaving a voice mail message is not your thing, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected].
The meeting place is the parking lot in front of the Visitor’s Center in the far corner close to the woods.
