Fairmount Park

Fairmount Park dates back to 1844, when it began as Lemon HIll estate, originally owned by Robert Morris who signed the Declaration of Independence about 60 years previously. The 1876 Centennial Exposition was held there and the site is also the home of the first zoo in the United States. The expanse offers an unending variety of photo ops and your DPA instructor will guide you through a myriad of photo techniques to capture the beauty of the landscape, accompanying old-world architecture specific to the park as well as the city skyline in the background. Use the 200 year old trees to frame a scene or practice your shutter speed control to depict fountains as crystal clear moments in time to velvety smooth movement to impressionistically capture the romance of flowing water.

Call Digital Photo Academy at 1 877 372 2231. Lots of people seem to hang up if our welcome recording comes on instead of a live voice, but we promise to return your message within a day or two if you leave one with your name and number.  It would be even better if you included your e mail address as well as the date and city of the class you are considering.  If leaving a voice mail message is not your thing, please email us at DPAbooking@digitalphotoacademy.com or Richard@digitalphotoacademy.com.
